GENERAL OBJECTIVES

of the story, rules and usages of grammar and language skills effectively.
• * Help and encourage them to apply their
knowledge in their daily life situations skilfully.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

the students to read the story Mulan for pleasure and learn tenses, rules,
usages And hints developing

them to narrate the story Mulan using simple English sentences of their own

them to understand various rules and usages of tenses and use it in their daily
life communication situations effectively.

FOR TENSES
The teacher either sing a
song or narrate a story or show a video clip or conduct an activity to motivate
the students.
INTRODUCTION
After the motivation
process over teacher will discuss / ask the students some questions to check
their previous knowledge regarding the topic or to check their general knowledge
and understanding of the topic.
EXAMPLE
1) Did
you enjoy the song ?why?
2) What
is the song about?
3) Mention
some of your favourite prominent woman personalities?
4) Did
woman fight for the freedom struggle?
Mention some of them?
5) What
is the condition of the today's women? What brought them to the status?
Etc……..
In
such a way the teacher will announce the topic or let the students to guess the
theme.

GUIDED READING : The teacher selects
a passage from the story and gives a model reading. Gives them it’s explanation
and encourage them to read and enjoy the story with their friends. So he divides
the class into four groups and ask them to read as SR is for reading pleasure. |
The students
listen to the teacher’s explanation and instructions attentively. They read the
story along with their group members, and discuss the story with them until
the teacher gives their next instructions. |
Now the teacher asks
the groups to come one by one to explain their understandings unsung simple
English sentences, Using of Tamil also allowed meanwhile. He also asks them some
questions. Good performers will be honoured by offering them claps, comments
or simple prizes etc 1)

came one by one and explained their understanding using simple English sentences
as well as Tamil wherever needed. They answered to

REINFORCEMENT ACTIVITY
In order to recapitulate
and reinforce the learning of the students the teacher conducts some of the Activities.

The teacher fix a match board On the
table. Then he distribute the Questions and answers written chart Piece papers
by explaining the Procedure of the activity. Then the student one who having the Q no 1 will
read aloud and place it at the questions part of the match board. While the Person
with the correct answer should Read it aloud by showing it to all and fix It
against the question at the match board. By the way the activity will be
conducted with the students participation.
ACTIVITY FOR TENSES
The teacher will conduct various
activities for reinforcing the grammar tenses part as per the students and
classroom situations. One among the activities is using of stick figures for
teaching tenses. Teacher will either show them in tab or laptop or smart board
or drew them on the board or distribute the flash cards with stick figures and
do the varieties of activities using that.

EVALUATION
The teacher conducts a simple test by using the DIKSHA or Text book Qr code based assessment in order to check the students understanding of the topic taught.
